Job description

Description

Team: Social Media

Please note that applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Location: Franklin, TN—on-site, relocation assistance available, flexible schedules available

Salary: $54,400–$72,000/year* + profit sharing + benefits
*Range depends on skill level and overall experience.

A Little Bit About Us: You might know us from our founder and CEO, Dave Ramsey, who's given no-nonsense money advice on the radio since 1992. Three decades later, Ramsey Solutions is a household name in personal finance, with a mission to change the toxic money culture for good.

Our Mission: Ramsey Solutions provides biblically based, commonsense education and empowerment that give HOPE to everyone in every walk of life.

Here's a Taste of Our Benefits:

  • Health insurance (includes plans eligible for an HSA—with a company match up to $500!)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% match/company contribution
  • Annual wellness, counseling and grocery membership reimbursement
  • On-campus cafe with subsidized pricing for breakfast, lunch and coffee bar
  • Dependent care FSA
  • Tons of cultural activities, like weekly devotional, leadership development courses, Battle of the Bands, and one epic Christmas party!

Where and How You'd Work:
Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. That's why all of our team members work on-site under the same roof. But work-life balance is also important to us, so we offer flexible work schedules to take the stress out of appointments, family obligations and other needs that may pop up.

While every team member has a designated workspace (with an electronic sit-stand desk), our campus was designed to house a variety of unique work and play zones (e.g., quiet library space, coffee bar/lounge areas, recreational game zone, and outside/patio work and break areas).

What You'd Do in This Role:
You'll turn raw footage and rough ideas into videos that make people stop scrolling, with hooks that grab attention in the first few seconds and pacing that keeps them watching to the end. You'll partner closely with our Social Media Strategists to understand the goal behind every piece of content before you start cutting, then bring your own editing instincts and creative ideas to make the final product stronger. Some days that look like fast-turnaround clips pulled from a personality or podcast. Other days it's original brand content built from the ground up, including stepping behind the camera to help plan and film when the moment calls for it. You'll build the workflows, templates, and organized systems that let you move quickly without losing quality, and you'll use AI and innovative editing tools to work smarter along the way.

You're Probably a Match If:

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience editing video for personalities, podcasts, or brand content, including UGC-style footage and content filmed direct to camera.
  • You can point to real growth your editing helped create, not just a list of things you've delivered.
  • You know how to use Adobe Premiere Pro and AI-powered editing tools to move faster without cutting corners on quality.
  • You understand what makes a hook work and how pacing and storytelling keep people watching all the way through.
  • You're comfortable editing for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X, and you know how each platform is different.
  • You've helped scale content for a business and can speak to the results it drove, not just the views.

What Winning Looks Like:

  • Delivering videos that consistently beat baseline engagement and retention expectations.
  • Building repeatable templates and workflows that speed up production without sacrificing quality.
  • Batching content and keeping a clean, organized pipeline with consistent project files and naming.
  • Leading with curiosity and asking good questions up front so ideas land right the first time and rework stays rare.
  • Tracking performance data and using what you learn to sharpen the next edit.
  • Bringing fresh creative ideas that make the strategy team's job easier.
  • Communicating early when timelines shift, and hitting deadlines the rest of the time.

Other Stuff to Know:
We're looking for people who are passionate about our mission. This isn't just a J-O-B. We experience resistance every day because what we believe is absolutely countercultural. We actually hate debt. We actually cut up our credit cards . . . like, for real. Some of us are still fighting our way out of debt, but we aren't going back. If you don't know much about Ramsey Solutions and our founder, Dave Ramsey, we encourage you to download the Ramsey Network mobile app and consume our content.

If Ramsey Solutions sounds like a workplace where you can get excited about Mondays, apply today. We can't wait to hear from you!
