Director, AI Content Strategy & Capabilities
Are you ready to turn AI into measurable content impact across global commercial teams? In this director-level role, you will connect real business needs with practical AI capabilities to transform our AI Content Supply chain across all of the ways we interact with healthcare stakeholders.
You will be part of an agile group of AI practioners who influence AI content strategy & decisions across the enterprise. Working alongside marketing, medical affairs, and technology partners, you will identify high-value AI content opportunities, prove value fast, and scale what works-improving quality, speed-to-market, personalization, and compliance. Do you thrive at the intersection of AI and Content strategy & delivery, turning ambiguous opportunities into outcomes that matter for patients and the business?
Accountabilities:
AI Content Opportunity Identification and Rapid Value Realization: Lead the identification, prioritization, and rapid realization of AI content opportunities across commercial content functions. Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, value-generating solutions that improve content quality, speed-to-market, personalization, and compliance. Champion a test-and-learn delivery model to validate concepts early, generate measurable commercial outcomes, and scale successful solutions while maintaining alignment with Commercial AI (AIC) priorities.
AI Content Solution Development Partnership and Delivery Enablement: Partner closely with AI, data science, IT, and product development teams to convert content opportunities into scalable high-impact AI solutions. Facilitate collaboration between the business, content domain experts and technical specialists, driving iterative development from proof-of-value through deployment and adoption. Align resources to maximize delivery speed, business value, and adoption, while ensuring rapid experimentation complements enterprise delivery processes and standards.
AI-Enabled Content Compliance and Process Resilience: Design and oversee AI-driven content capabilities that strengthen compliance and process resilience across authoring, review, approval, and localization. Embed intelligent automation and proactive quality management to improve speed, consistency, and risk mitigation, reduce manual effort, and increase reliability, scalability, and continuity of critical content pipelines.
AI Content Impact Communication and Engagement: Communicate value, outcomes, and lessons learned from AI content initiatives through compelling narratives, demonstrations, and executive-ready communications. Increase visibility, stakeholder understanding, and engagement to build momentum for AI-driven content transformation and innovation.
AI Content Technology and Market Awareness: Maintain awareness of emerging AI content technologies, platforms, and market developments. Support proof-of-value activities, technology assessments, and adoption recommendations by evaluating fit with content and business needs, coordinating with enterprise architecture, aligning with security requirements, defining implementation effort, and calculating expected benefits, enabling informed decisions and accelerated value.
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to lead the identification, prioritization, and rapid realization of AI content opportunities across commercial content functions.
  • Experience partnering closely with global and local marketing and medical affairs content stakeholders to understand content challenges, uncover high-impact AI content use cases, and translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, value-generating content solutions.
  • Deep understanding of AI content technologies and strong commercial insight to recognize content opportunities where AI can meaningfully improve content quality, speed-to-market, personalization, and compliance.
  • Proven track record championing a test-and-learn delivery model by developing focused AI content capabilities that can be rapidly deployed and evaluated by content stakeholders, generating measurable commercial outcomes and scaling successful solutions through iterative delivery and continuous learning.
  • Ability to promote simplicity, speed, and outcome-oriented execution, balancing appropriate governance with rapid value realization while minimizing unnecessary complexity and organizational overhead.
  • Proven capability to act as a bridge between commercial content needs and AI innovation, ensuring opportunities move efficiently from concept to measurable business value while maintaining alignment with Commercial AI (AIC) priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to improve content creation, review speed, consistency, risk mitigation, compliance monitoring, decision support, exception management, and content quality checks while reducing manual effort.
  • Experience coordinating specialist resources and external partners to supplement internal capabilities for rapid experimentation, accelerated validation, and efficient delivery of targeted AI content solutions.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $186,014 to $279.021. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives-an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
