Position Overview  

We're searching for a  Manager, Content Management to join our Product Management team.  To keep us headed in the right direction, we're looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team's diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.      

  

What You'll Do

  • Oversee content writer/editors and publishers within an assigned market
  • Considers the needs of all client constituents, both internal and external, with the goal of delivering content to clients of all sizes - small as well as global in nature.
  • Creates and delivers on the content roadmap, vision and goals and communicates content roadmap to key business groups
  • Facilitates conversations with internal and external stakeholders to get feedback on current and new content, content library functionality, uncover unmet content needs and develop a deeper understanding of their business and pain points
  • Develops, maintains and communicates content roadmap to key business groups
  • Advocates for end users and customers - the voice of the customer and the voice of market
  • Assists in defining email marketing campaigns that meet agent needs/expectations and create market competitiveness
  • Performs user testing and documents defects for development team
  • Provides oversight and guidance to the content team on the planning, creation, delivery and governance of useful, usable content
  • Stays current on competitive landscape and trends in content development and engagement, as well as the subject-matter areas of P&C insurance and employee benefits
  • Partners with various teams across the organization such as UX, marketing, sales, development, product management and design to discuss ongoing and future projects, identify and outline future content needs, requirements and CMS enhancements
  • Identifies potential content partners, manages vendor relationships and negotiates contracts
  • Works closely with Product Manager to ensure content projects are integrated with product priorities
  • Partners with Product Manager and analytics team to ensure proper content tracking is in place and uses analytics program to analyze content usage and user engagement metrics

Your experience may include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Communication, Journalism, Professional Writing, content management, marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of increasing digital content management/content marketing/email marketing experience, including significant exposure to the insurance or benefits industry preferred
  • Innovative team player who inspires innovation in others, through engagement and negotiation
  • Experience launching AI initiatives coupled with human-in-the-loop feedback in the content marketing space
  • Experience managing a team
  • Passion for storytelling, language and familiarity with various forms of digital content; specific purposes of different content types and audience appeal
  • Strong project management skills, including ability to conceptualize, manage and prioritize multiple projects; deadline driven
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills; ability to compellingly communicate/present brand story
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically; can formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
  • Street smarts; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals
  • Ability to partner with Marketing, Sales, and CX teams to define automation use cases tied to customer journeys
  • Highly skilled in data analysis, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking abilities, capable of making decisions that balance short-term results with long-term goals.
  • A background working for enterprise B2B SaaS organizations.

You may have other skills or credentials, including:

  • Marketing or content management experience in a corporate and/or agency environment, including experience developing content strategy for mid-sized to large companies
  • Subject-matter expertise in P&C insurance and/or employee benefits preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills, with a proven ability to navigate a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to support management and prioritization of content requests

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position is TBD per year. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.  

  This position is a remote role, offering flexibility to work from a home office location
