Overview

The Manager, Product Content Operations leads product imaging and technical content production for the American Performance portfolio. This role oversees photo and video specialists and freelance resources while building the workflows, asset standards, and operating discipline needed to support efficient product commercialization across key channels. Aligned to brands including Holley, MSD, Holley EFI, AEM, Racepak, NOS, and Flowmaster, this leader ensures product content is planned, produced, and routed to support launches, digital shelf readiness, retailer requirements, training, and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the product imaging and technical content operation for the American Performance portfolio, balancing quality, throughput, and on-time delivery across active priorities.
  • Own the content readiness workflow that ensures assets are properly produced, named, packaged, and routed to support PIM, e-commerce, retailer, marketplace, training, and support needs.
  • Develop production workflows, intake methods, prioritization processes, asset templates, and team standards that strengthen commercialization readiness at scale.
  • Manage production schedules, resource allocation, backlog, and freelancer support across launches, line updates, retailer asks, and ongoing content needs.
  • Partner across division marketing, product, engineering, quality, commercialization, retailer, and support teams to translate business needs into clear studio workplans and scalable output.

Preferred Background

  • 7+ years of experience in studio operations, content production, product content, or related production environments, with prior team management in an agency or professional studio.
  • Strong understanding of product photography, technical video production, and digital commerce content requirements.
  • Experience supporting retailer, e-commerce, online retail, or manufacturer content needs; familiarity with ACES and PIES preferred.
  • Automotive aftermarket, OEM, or similarly technical product experience preferred, with an enthusiast mindset a plus.
