About the Team

As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.
Summary: Topps Digital, a division of Fanatics Collectibles, is seeking a hands-on Mobile User Acquisition Manager to own end-to-end acquisition campaigns across our portfolio of mobile apps. You'll manage paid media, optimize performance across multiple channels, collaborate on creative strategy, and leverage attribution data to acquire high-quality users while improving ROAS, retention, and long-term growth.
This position will help develop and drive day-to-day user acquisition and retargeting campaigns via multiple channels. These channels include, but are not limited to, Google Ads (App Campaigns/UAC), Meta/Instagram, 3rd party Ad Networks, CTV (Connected TV), digital sponsorships, licensor collaborations, and select others to acquire high-quality users who are likely to engage and monetize within Topps Digital's suite of digital collectible apps (8 total apps - https://play.toppsapps.com). This is an individual contributor role with significant ownership over acquisition strategy, campaign execution, optimization, partner management, and creative testing across multiple mobile apps.
This role will also be a driving force in creating compelling marketing campaigns that appeal to both physical AND digital collectors alike as they engage with the Fanatics Collectibles ecosystem through multiple touchpoints (Topps Digital apps, Fanatics Collect, Fanatics LIVE, Topps.com, Fanatics.com).
What you will be doing...
  • Own end-to-end user acquisition strategy across a portfolio of Topps Digital mobile apps, with the opportunity to directly influence media strategy, creative direction, attribution, and growth initiatives while working with some of the world's most recognizable sports and entertainment brands.
  • Manage third-party ad network relationships
    • Research and recommend 3rd party ad networks to test
    • Onboard & integrate new ad partners with our attribution platform (Singular)
    • Supply networks with assets, creative refreshes, tracking links, etc.
    • Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizing solutions
    • Manage budgets and allocate accordingly to strive for optimal ROI
  • Create, manage & optimize in-house marketing campaign efforts
    • Google AdWords campaigns, App Store Search Ads, etc.
    • Research and test interest groups to find new pockets of users
  • Partner with attribution platform representatives to maximize platform capabilities and campaign performance
  • Partner with designers and content producers to develop, test, and optimize creative concepts using campaign performance insights
  • Storyboard and project manage video ad creation and production
  • Create campaign performance reports & effectively summarize for department review
  • Create easily digestible UA reports to present to internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with larger Fanatics Collectibles & Fanatics Holdings groups to identify and leverage cross-promotional opportunities
  • Support experiential marketing events that drive app acquisition and user growth.

What you will bring...
  • 4+ years App User Acquisition or App Marketing Manager experience is required
    • Experience with mobile apps, gaming, or other consumer mobile products is strongly preferred.
  • Experience planning, buying, and optimizing ROI-based campaigns
  • Experience managing and optimizing meaningful paid acquisition budgets while allocating spend across channels and partners based on performance
  • Experience managing relationships with third-party ad networks, DSPs, or user acquisition agencies.
    • Upyield, Zoomd, TVScientific, Klay Media, etc.
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads (App Campaigns/UAC), and Apple Search Ads is required
  • Experience using mobile attribution platforms (Singular preferred; AppsFlyer, Kochava, or similar acceptable) to measure campaign performance, validate tracking, and inform optimization decisions.
  • Familiarity with mobile app and industry terminology and processes
    • such as installs, retention, CPI, CAC, IAP, LTV, ROAS, CVR, cohort segmentation, etc.
  • Knowledge of trends and current events as they relate to the sports & entertainment apps in the Topps Digital suite and beyond:
    • MLB, NFL, NBA, UEFA, WWE, Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communicator with strong writing and communication skills
  • Willingness to work industry events to help drive on-site UA efforts
    • All Star Weekends, Comic Cons, Fanatics Fest, etc.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Passionate collector or in-depth knowledge of collectibles ecosystem
