In the role ofย Associate Consumer Insights Managerย working inย Chicago, IL, you will be a part of the Strategy and Capabilities team and work directly with the Marketing Brand teams. In this role, you will help support the development of consumer learning plans that support Molson Coorsโ€™ iconic brands, embedding consumerโ€‘first thinking and delivering actionable insights. You will champion brand growth through humanโ€‘led insights, partnering closely with brand teams to inform key marketing plans and initiatives. This work is critical to driving value and sales for consumers, distributors, and the broader Molson Coors business, while advancing a more forwardโ€‘looking insights strategy.

Youโ€™ll help plan, design and conduct various consumer research studies (including both qualitative and qualitative methods) and help build the โ€œvoice of the consumerโ€ within the brand teams.

This position reports to the Senior Insights Manager of Above Premium Beer and works closely with internal and external stakeholders including brand, channel and/or customer teams and research suppliers.ย 

What Youโ€™ll Be Brewing:

  • Design robust, best-in-class consumer insights learning plans that meet the needs of marketing teams
  • You will help determine the appropriate research methodologies to address key strategic questions by incorporating and refining hypotheses from stakeholders to guide study design and trade-offs
  • Manage and integrate multiple research methodologies and data sources (e.g., brand health tracking, behavioral data, and custom quantitative research), translating complex findings into clear, actionable consumer insights
  • Manage research projects across key marketing focus areas, including brand positioning, campaign and communication development and consumer targeting, to inform strategy and drive business impact
  • You will identify and communicate consumer insights with key stakeholders and leadership to drive both short term tactical and long term strategic direction
  • You are expected to have influence on the direction of the companyโ€™s brand strategy by always keeping the consumer first and operating with a growth mindsetย 

Key Ingredients:โ€ฏย 

  • ย Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology or similar, or better yet MBA (ideally with social science, research focus)
  • You have at least 3 years ofย consumer researchย experienceย (supplier, client or agency)ย 
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to manage large, complex datasets such as Nielsen and Circana
  • Working knowledge of a broad range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and key questions for determining appropriate research approachesย 
  • Ability to identify and synthesize consumer information to provide insights to key customersย 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong teamwork, problem solving and communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)

Job Posting Total Rewardsย Offerings: $83,200.00ย -ย $109,200.00ย (posting salary range) +ย 10%ย target short term incentiveย +ย $23,000ย on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
