Job description

Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is seeking a mid-level Technical Writer to support key activities in the defense of emerging threats in the cybersecurity domain. The role involves creating and managing technical documentation for various audiences and collaborating with technical teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Create documentation for a technical program to include user guides/reference manuals/capability training materials, requirements documents, reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), briefings etc for consumption by both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create document templates as needed for efficiency.
• Take ownership of existing documentation to ensure it is continually updated in support of an optimized workflow ensuring knowledge management.
• Own the process of routing technical documentation to ensure accuracy with technical team members.
• Work in close partnership with subject matter experts, system and software engineers, test engineers and analysts.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of Seven plus (7+) years’ experience working as a Technical Writer.
• Experience using Confluence.
• Experience using tools to create templates for documentation.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance
