As we continue our growth journey from $1 billion to $5 billion, high-quality product data is critical to delivering exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and scalable growth.


We are seeking a Product Data Analyst who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about turning data into a strategic advantage. In this role, you will help maintain, enrich, and optimize product information across multiple systems while driving automation, improving data quality, and supporting enterprise-wide data governance initiatives.

What You'll Do

Product Data Management

  • Maintain and enrich product ย attributes including descriptions, specifications, classifications, images, dimensions, and identifiers (UNSPSC, GTIN, MPN) across ERP, PIM, and related systems.ย 
  • Source and validate missing product information from suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party data providers.ย 
  • Support new product onboarding by reviewing, validating, and enriching product data before deployment to downstream systems.ย 
  • Ensure product information ย remains accurate, consistent, and aligned across all platforms.ย 

Data Quality & Governance

  • Apply data quality standards and perform routine audits to identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and compliance issues.ย 
  • Monitor and improve data completeness, accuracy, and consistency through established governance practices.ย 
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track data quality KPIs, enrichment progress, and operational performance.ย 
  • Help establish best practices, ownership models, and documentation for product data management.ย 

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Utilize SQL, Excel, Power Query, ETL tools, and AI-assisted technologies to automate data preparation, validation, and maintenance processes.ย 
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve scalability through workflow automation.ย 
  • Support ERP, PIM, and master data management initiatives that improve efficiency and data reliability.ย 
  • Assist with supplier integrations, catalog syndication, and product content distribution projects.ย 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.ย 
  • Serve as a trusted resource for product data expertise across the organization.ย 
  • Train users on data standards, self-service reporting tools, and best practices. ย 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).ย 
  • 2-4 years of experience in product data management, master data management, catalog operations, analytics, or a related role.ย 
  • Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, lookups, and data validation techniques.ย 
  • Experience working with ERP, PIM, or other enterprise data management systems.ย 
  • Understanding of ETL processes, data transformation, and workflow automation concepts.ย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.ย 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.ย 
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.ย 
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation and data manipulation.ย 
  • Experience working with APIs, ETL pipelines, FTP/SFTP integrations, or other data exchange technologies.ย 
  • Familiarity with Epicor Eclipse, Salsify, or similar ERP/PIM platforms.ย 
  • Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, construction supply, or wholesale environments.ย 
  • Exposure to AI-powered data enrichment tools, machine learning, or large language models (LLMs).ย 
  • Understanding of product taxonomy management, classification systems, and data governance frameworks.ย
