Position Summary

The Construction Data Analyst supports construction projects through Power BI, dashboard development, Excel, SharePoint data management, and process analysis. This role will analyze project data and develop reporting solutions that improve visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Analyze construction, project, schedule, safety, quality, and operational data. 
  • Extract, organize, clean, and validate data from SharePoint, Excel, project management systems, and other databases. 
  • Maintain and organize SharePoint folders, libraries, lists, and project data. 
  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and workflow improvements. 
  • Partner with project and construction teams to understand reporting needs. 
  • Automate recurring reports and improve data collection processes. 
  • Identify trends, data gaps, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for project leadership. 
  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and workflow improvements. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence 
  • Strong Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint skills 
  • Experience with Power Query, DAX, Power BI Required, 
  • Power Automate preferred
  • Experience in BESS, Wind, Solar, construction, or renewable energy preferred 
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

This position primarily works in an office, hybrid, or remote environment using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.

  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and related technology
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move office materials or equipment up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to travel to project sites, meetings, or company locations as needed
