Job description

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

About our Team:

Micron's EnableAI program is dedicated to accelerating AI innovation across the enterprise by aligning technical capabilities with strategic business objectives. Our team serves as a bridge between stakeholders and engineering, ensuring AI initiatives are evaluated, prioritized, and advanced efficiently while maintaining compliance and risk standards.

Position Overview:

The AI Solution Intake & Feasibility Analyst acts as the central liaison between business stakeholders and Micron's EnableAI program. This role guides stakeholders through the AI use-case intake process, evaluates proposals for strategic value and feasibility, and ensures high-potential initiatives progress into impactful projects. Rather than acting as a gatekeeper, the analyst facilitates collaboration and supports colleagues in developing innovative AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee AI Intake: Manage incoming AI project requests, clarify use cases with business partners, estimate ROI, and assess readiness and resources.

  • Assess Feasibility: Conduct initial technical and ethical risk evaluations using established frameworks; categorize projects and escalate high-risk proposals as needed.

  • Facilitate Approvals: Collaborate with privacy, legal, and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and prevent unsanctioned activities.

  • Analyze Pipeline Data: Monitor intake trends, identify repetitive or duplicate proposals, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Communicate Outcomes: Provide clear, timely feedback to collaborators, advise on strengthening proposals, set expectations, and acknowledge successful approvals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, IT project management, technology consulting, or similar roles involving evaluation and scoping of new initiatives.

  • Ability to gather requirements, manage intake or ticketing queues, and evaluate feasibility for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • General familiarity with AI/ML concepts and terminologies; experience with GRC tools/frameworks and project management software (e.g., Jira) is helpful.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain a partnering approach even when delivering constraints or difficult messages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience evaluating technology or AI project proposals within a regulated industry or large enterprise environment.

  • Knowledge of risk assessment models or frameworks (e.g., NIST AI Risk Management Framework, COSO ERM Framework).

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, information systems, or related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
