Corporate Bookkeeper – Manage Financial Integrity and Compliance for a Fast-Paced Construction Leader


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will take complete ownership of corporate financial records and compliance mechanisms for a premier, high-volume general contractor. This onsite role gives you the structural autonomy to balance ledgers, oversee job costing, and manage multi-project workflows without micromanagement. Your precision will directly protect our bottom line and optimize company operations as we continue to scale.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Maintain precise financial records by recording and verifying all multi-project accounting transactions daily.
  • Execute thorough job-costing processes to accurately track vendor invoices, project expenses, and operational margins.
  • Supervise subcontractor compliance data, tracking insurance-related financial documents and critical lien waivers closely.
  • Prepare accurate contractor and vendor payments systematically to ensure continuous, on-time project execution.
  • Partner with project managers and executive leadership to reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
  • Optimize corporate spreadsheets and digital accounting systems to elevate overall data transparency and reporting speed.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional bookkeeping, corporate accounting, or highly relevant financial management experience.
  • Advanced computer proficiency with deep technical expertise using QuickBooks, basic accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and high-volume corporate transaction management.
  • Demonstrated history working autonomously within an accountability-driven, fast-paced corporate business environment.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related business field.
  • Substantial background in construction bookkeeping, including job costing, lien waivers, and subcontractor compliance management.
