Job description

D2 Excavating, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting functions of our growing heavy civil construction company. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing job cost transactions, supporting payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly financial reporting.


The ideal candidate has construction accounting experience, understands job costing, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and organization are critical.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Process vendor invoices and customer billings

Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

Prepare payroll and maintain payroll records

Track job costs and project expenses

Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software

Support management with budgeting and cash flow reporting

Coordinate with CPA for tax filings and audits



Requirements

5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

Construction industry experience preferred
