Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our Family Oriented Company. In this vital role, you will manage the day-to-day financial recordkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, support reporting processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Construction Bookkeeping a Plus. 
Responsibilities 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure consistency across all accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries, process accounts payable and receivable, and assist co-workers in Invoicing.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify the accuracy of financial data.
  • Support payroll processing and governmental accounting requirements as needed.
  • AIA for Construction Payroll.
  • Waivers
  • Notary a Plus (We do have a place where you can go to get these done)
  • Certified Payroll done and sent out Originals to corresponding Companies
  • Certified Payroll to submit in DOL’s Portal 
  • Other Portals that need invoices to be submitted
Qualifications
  • Experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles 
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax experience is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger accounting efficiently.
