Job Summary
Pay: $19.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Bookkeeper to support our growing construction operations in Goodyear, AZ. This role also provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily office and project operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting, job costing, and project-based financial management. This position requires accuracy, organization, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple projects and entities in a deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Accounting
Responsibilities
 
  Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Perform job costing and maintain accurate project financial records

Process payroll and subcontractor payments

Prepare and submit progress billings, including AIA billing

Track lien waivers and subcontractor compliance documentation

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts

Generate monthly financial reports and assist with budget tracking

Provide financial support to project managers and company leadership
Administrative Support

Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

Assist with contract documentation and compliance tracking

Support internal communication and coordination between office and field teams

Perform general administrative duties to support daily operations

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in the construction industry

Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting practices

Experience with AIA billing and subcontractor management preferred

Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) or similar accounting software

Experience with service management programs a plus
