Position Objective

The Hardware Configuration Specialist independently performs hardware setup, software loading, and firmware updates to ensure devices are deployment-ready. This role maintains inventory accuracy, meets configuration quality standards, and helps identify process improvements that keep operations running smoothly.

 
 
Responsibilities
  • Configure and update hardware to meet specifications for deployment.

  • Maintain 99%+ accuracy in configuration, serial number tracking, and documentation.

  • Identify and quarantine DOA or unconfigurable hardware and report findings.

  • Ensure proper bin placement and labeling for configured equipment.

  • Conduct QA checks to verify firmware and software accuracy before release.

  • Collaborate with shipping and deployment teams to meet order timelines.

  • Suggest improvements that reduce configuration errors or lead times.

  • Deliver high-quality, accurate work and outcomes by consistently adhering to documented processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and checklists.

  • Review and verify outcomes before submission to maintain consistency and high-quality standards.

  • Identify and address process gaps or errors to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

 
 
Skills & Knowledge
  • Proven knowledge of Android OS, POS hardware, and configuration processes.

  • Hands-on experience with EloView, Paxstore, ChefTab, and FreshKDS systems.

  • Strong organization, accuracy, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic configuration issues.

  • Understanding of warehouse inventory systems and data accuracy practices..

 
 
Previous Experience
  • 2 –3 years of professional experience in customer success or related roles.

  • Experience in fintech or SaaS environments preferred.

 
 
Education / Professional Training
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred.

  • Certifications in Supply Chain Management or Lean methodologies preferred.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

 
 
Languages & Level of Proficiency
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

  • Additional languages are preferred but not required.

Compensation:

  • Our base pay range is $15.00 - 19.00 hourly for this role
