Job description

Project Overview
Architect and implement or re-architect the existing defined configuration management tool to fully integrate with SNOW CMDB and introduce automation. Develop standards for Playbooks or Cookbooks.
Contractor's Role
The Configuration Management Architect interacts with IT project management, developers, enterprise architects, production support, and other team members and vendors. Develop standard automated reporting to identify health of agents and any potential drift.
Qualifications (must haves)
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and networking
โ€ข Proficient in YAML, Jinja2, Python, Ruby, and Shell scripting
โ€ข 8+yrs expeirence in Software Engineering & Systems Archicture
โ€ข Experience in legacy and current technology platforms (Unix, AIX, Windows, Mainframe, Linux)
โ€ข Experience architecting the solution from ground up as well as re-architecting an existing tool
Nice to have (optional)
โ€ข Ideal candidate has a mix of technical and business skills, and a passion for problem solving.
โ€ข Have working experience with IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.
โ€ข Has worked with integrating a configuration management tool into SNOW.
โ€ข Experience with ADO and working in an agile project methodology.
