Job description

Job Summary:
Tailored Brands, Inc. is a leading specialty retailer of menswear, and they are seeking a Sr IT Asset & Configuration Analyst to join their technology team. This role will be responsible for managing asset and configuration data across various platforms and driving the evolution of the CMDB/ITAM framework to enhance automation and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
• Define and deliver a 3–5 year roadmap to modernize CMDB/ITAM, aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Build an asset intelligence framework that connects Ivanti CMDB/ITAM with discovery, observability, security, and FinOps tools.
• Maintain CMDB/ITAM as the single source of truth for assets, configuration items, relationships, and business services, with clear standards and governance.
• Define and govern data models, standards, and quality metrics; continuously improve accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Lead AI-enabled automation (e.g., discovery and classification, relationship mapping, data cleanup, and predictive insights).
• Own the Ivanti CMDB/ITAM framework, including Discovery, Service Mapping, HAM/SAM, integrations (IntegrationHub/API), and platform performance at scale.
• Provide near real-time reconciliation and reporting to support change impact analysis, vulnerability prioritization, and refresh planning.
• Build license optimization and SaaS management practices that reduce spend while staying compliant and audit-ready.
• Embed security and compliance controls (SOX/ISO and internal policies) into CMDB/ITAM processes with strong governance and audit trails.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption, clarify operating models, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Review major initiatives to ensure standard CMDB/ITAM integration patterns are used; mentor platform teams and solution architects.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of experience in CMDB/IT Asset Management or large-scale transformation.
• Deep, hands-on Ivanti (or similar platform) experience across CMDB and ITAM/HAM/SAM, including Discovery, Service Mapping, data modeling, relationship mapping, and integrations.
• Proven ability to build governance frameworks, including data ownership, quality standards, operating models, and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of ITIL 4 Configuration & Asset Management and end-to-end asset lifecycle management (procurement through retirement).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid infrastructure patterns; familiarity with FinOps cost-optimization practices.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML and automation for IT operations (e.g., predictive insights, recommendations, NLP/virtual agents).
• Data and analytics skills (SQL, dashboards, performance metrics) with the ability to translate insights into executive-ready decisions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive change across a matrixed organization.
• Relevant certifications are strongly valued (e.g., CIS – CMDB/ITAM, CSA, ITIL 4).
