Job description

Provides overall consistency in the deliverables for the System Support team by overseeing the testing and training efforts for the team. Offers subject matter expertise in the Epic Tapestry and Epic Benefits Engine module to the team for improved and efficient build. Utilize analytical skills to provide quality control for Tapestry and Benefit build. May be responsible for maintenance, training and support as directed by management.  Monitors system issues, uses analytical skills to troubleshoot issues including end user difficulties. Maintains process documents for the System Support team to ensure all processes are well documented.  Provide Tapestry and Benefits support to other teams such as Resolute team for benefit issue resolution and Epic upgrade build/testing.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • 10% Testing coordination for the System Support team
  • 10% Training for System Support staff
  • 10% Oversee complex Tapestry and Benefit issues and offer the most efficient resolution
  • 10% Provide quality control for Tapestry and Benefit build
  • 10%  Maintain process documents for System Support team
  • 10% Provide Tapestry support to other internal teams such as Resolute for Benefit issue resolution 
  • 10%  Benefits build and support (including Benefit CRMs, plan build and testing)
  • 10% Eligibility Load tasks (Maintain/develop work queue including loading, batch error review, edits, etc. 
  • 10% System Support projects and system upgrade related tasks
  • 10% Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree (BA, BS in business or other related field) or comparable Information Systems Application experience or KSC experience (will substitute experience year-for -year to meet 
    education requirements)
  • 3 years of experience with healthcare applications, system design, configuration or support
  • Demonstrated knowledge of claims processing, vendor contracting, and benefit plan building
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Proven ability to translate administrative and operating requirements specific to EPIC Tapestry System and EPIC Benefits Engine into clear, specific actionable system configurations and the ability to implement those configurations
  • Proven ability to test, train and audit Provider, Vendor Contract and Benefit system configurations to assure functional accuracy
  • Proven excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proven ability to read and interpret industry documents
  • Proven flexible, detail oriented, and able to work within tight deadlines
  • Proven to exhibit exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Microsoft office including Excel and MS Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epic Tapestry Certification 
  • Epic Benefits Certification
  • 3 years of experience in a Managed Care environment
  • Demonstrable knowledge of clinical data sets (CPT, HCPS, ICD-9)
  • Proven solid analytical and reporting skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
