This position conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviews software, demonstrates a deeper understanding of business operations, and works with Epic, Subject Matter Experts, and end users to tailor the system to fit the organization's needs. Type of Opportunity: Full time Job Exempt: Yes Job is based: Reverend Hugh Cooper Administrative Center Work Shift: Days (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

This position routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for design, build, testing, and maintain those solutions

  • Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk; including 24/7 on call coverage as required.
  • Perform analysis to resolve application incidents, maintenance items, enhancement requests, upgrades / updates, and projects, collaborating with colleagues and across teams.
  • Develop and maintain requirements / specifications and test cases for new or enhanced functionality to department applications. Ensure the test scripts have been created, reviewed, and updated to reflect workflow solutions.
  • Modify Epic records, tables, and master files to support the application design, additions, and changes.
  • Implement changes using documented procedures that are compliant with departments policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate and contribute in team and cross-team meetings and maintain appropriate meeting records.
  • Have expert understanding of your supported application, integration and general understanding of most all other Epic applications.
  • Work independently 100% of the time
  • Anticipate add on work and accomplish both within schedule. Role model for projects.
  • Promote teamwork within and with other teams

Required Certificate: Orders Certification

Preferred Certificate: Bugsy Certificate

Hybrid: In office expected for individuals within 60 Miles of Albuquerque every Tues, Wed, Thurs.

Remote: Open to remote applicants in the United States, except for the following states: California, Illinois, North Dakota, New York, Ohio, Washington and Wyoming

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of IT or business experience.
  • 3 years of Epic specific experience. 6 years' of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Epic certified in supporting application plus additional proficiency/certification/badges in related application area
