Job Overview

The Epic Willow Analyst III is a senior-level position responsible for providing highly specialized support to all pharmacy staff roles throughout the care continuum (as assigned). The Analyst III serves as a subject matter expert and strategic leader, driving innovation and system improvements. The Analyst III collaborates with leadership on high-impact initiatives, oversees team performance, and ensures the long-term success of the Willow Ambulatory system. The Analyst III leads the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the existing systems and has a working knowledge of the applications for support and troubleshooting. The Analyst III liaises between technical support, customers, and project teams in the design, implementation, and training of our healthcare information systems and any new enhanced systems. In addition, the Analyst III utilizes comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy workflows and Epic system capabilities and functional use, as well as develops, recommends, and oversees the implementation of policies and procedures for areas of responsibility. Lastly, the Analyst III educates pharmacy staff (pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, leadership) and, at times, other clinicians (physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members) in their use of Willow.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Epic Willow Ambulatory & inventory certification required.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a position that had the same or similar primary duties in a healthcare setting, which should include database and data analysis technology, as well as project management tools.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting Pharmacy Operations and/or systems experience required, such as billing, patient flow, scheduling, access services, health information management, or other support functions in a healthcare organization.

  • 3+ years of Epic Willow experience required.

  • Experience working with Epic configuration, required.

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing, PharmD, other clinical discipline, information technology/informatics, business, management, communications, etc., is required or equivalent years of experience.

  • Active license or certification to practice as a clinician is a plus (PharmD, MD, RN, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Dietitian, Clinical Social Worker, Respiratory Therapist, etc.), preferred.

  • Active/current Epic certification in Beacon, preferred.

  • Experience in department building and implementing community connect locations, preferred.

  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Microsoft SQL 2000 or 2005, and use of data warehousing/design tools such as Cognos, Crystal Reports, and Visio is highly preferred.

  • Ability to demonstrate and have a history of team management (informal or formal), cross-team communication, and leadership skills, preferred.

  • Experience with project management for data gathering, analyzing, and defining business and functional requirements, preferred.

  • Certified and/or accredited in Compass Rose/Health Planet/Willow inpatient, preferred.

Compensation

$99,623.68 - $124,529.60 annually
