Job Title: Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) AnalystLocation: Remote or Eden Prairie, MNEmployment Type: Contract (on Zipstaff W2 | no C2C or 1099)About the Opportunity:ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Epic Resolute Professional Billing Analyst to support revenue cycle operations for a healthcare organization.This role requires an active Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification and strong hands-on experience supporting billing, payment posting, denial management, and related revenue cycle processes. The ideal candidate brings deep domain knowledge, process improvement experience, and the ability to partner effectively with operational and technical stakeholders.What You’ll Do:
  • Support and optimize Epic Resolute Professional Billing workflows and configuration.
  • Apply deep knowledge of billing, payment posting, self-pay/insurance follow-up, denial management, and related revenue cycle operations.
  • Partner with business and operational teams to analyze processes, identify gaps, and drive improvements.
  • Support testing, issue resolution, and system enhancements related to Professional Billing.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue cycle metrics and KPIs to support process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to knowledge sharing and informal leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic PB functionality and revenue cycle best practices.
  • Support documentation, training, and operational readiness activities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active / current Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification (required)
  • 4+ years of healthcare experience.
  • 4+ years of direct client healthcare domain knowledge in areas such as:
    • Billing.
    • Payment posting.
    • Self-pay / insurance follow-up.
    • Denial management.
    • Customer service or vendor management.
  • 4+ years of subject matter expertise in relevant applications.
  • 4+ years of knowledge of revenue cycle metrics, KPIs, and process improvement techniques.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Epic experience with direct client engagement.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Epic Patient Estimates Badge or equivalent experience.
  • Subject matter expertise in Epic Security for Professional Billing.
  • Subject matter expertise in Epic Credits for Professional Billing.
  • Completed Epic Continuing Education (CEE) to maintain certifications and badges.
  • 4+ years of knowledge of revenue cycle operational policies and procedures.
  • 2+ years of informal or formal team leadership / cross-team communication experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
