Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Systems & Process Analysis
  • Analyze business requirements, data, and system processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, system workflows, and functional specifications to clearly document current-state and future-state solutions.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and solution designs.

2. Development, Testing & Support
  • Maintain and enhance existing core systems to support new features, correct defects, and improve logic and performance.
  • Configure and test system changes to ensure functionality, performance, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide timely troubleshooting and production support for critical system and process issues; after-hours or weekend support may occasionally be required.

3. Documentation & Standards
  • Produce and maintain clear documentation for:

    • Business and system requirements
    • Process flows and data mappings
    • Testing plans and test results
    • Deployment and implementation strategies

  • Utilize ServiceNow to record and maintain change management activities, production support work, incidents, and system enhancements, ensuring traceability, audit readiness, and clear operational history.

  • Ensure documentation supports auditability, knowledge transfer, and long-term system maintainability.

4. Collaboration & Communication
  • Serve as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and external partners.
  • Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Provide regular updates to IT management on assigned projects, tasks, and support.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant systems analysis or application development experience.
  • Equivalent education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency is demonstrated.
