About the Role

AO Swag is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Embroidery Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing role responsible for operating embroidery equipment in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.

This position is well suited for individuals who value consistency, follow procedures, and take pride in producing high-quality work in a structured production environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Program production sheets into embroidery machines according to work instructions
  • Operate embroidery machines in compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
  • Load thread and materials accurately and verify setup prior to production
  • Load and unload hats and apparel using approved fixtures and jigs
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards
  • Perform minor machine adjustments and promptly report equipment issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Comfortable working on your feet for the duration of the shift
  • Basic computer skills for machine operation and production tracking
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check

Previous embroidery or sewing experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Schedule & Physical Requirements

Schedule

  • Sunday - Thursday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM 
  • Overtime may be required during peak production periods in accordance with business needs

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged standing and repetitive hand movements
  • Frequent reaching, bending, and hand-eye coordination
  • Occasional lifting of boxes or materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Safety & Compliance Expectations

  • Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and workplace standards
  • Participate in required safety training and compliance programs
  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately
  • Maintain compliance with attendance, timekeeping, and workplace conduct policies
