About the Company

We are representing a global logistics and supply chain organization with an established presence across the U.S. market. The company supports complex international trade operations and provides integrated transportation, warehousing, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions.

As the business continues to invest in its compliance and regulatory functions, it is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to support and oversee key customs and FTZ programs.


About the Role

This position will play a critical role in ensuring compliance across customs and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. The successful candidate will work closely with operational leadership, compliance teams, and regulatory agencies to maintain best-in-class compliance standards while supporting business growth.

The preferred locations for this role are Jackson, GA and Salt Lake City, UT, although candidates located elsewhere within the U.S. may be considered.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee FTZ compliance programs and day-to-day FTZ activities
  • Ensure compliance with CBP regulations and applicable trade requirements
  • Lead internal audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and regulatory documentation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on customs compliance and FTZ operations
  • Support operational teams through training, guidance, and process improvement initiatives
  • Interface with government agencies and regulatory authorities as required


Candidate Requirements

  • 5+ years of customs compliance, customs brokerage, or FTZ management experience
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations and FTZ operations
  • Experience managing compliance programs within a logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environment
  • Previous leadership or management experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) strongly preferred
  • CCS and/or CES certification highly desirable
