Responsibilities:
  • Serves as subject matter expert for all boat, trailer, and ride-on matters across the organization
  • Updates and maintains all store training with the most current federal, state, and local regulations
  • Create and maintain internal Training materials
  • Maintain the most current watercraft and motor vehicle regulations for each of the states in which Academy operates and boarders
  • Research licensing and permit requirements of states where Academy does business or anticipates doing business
  • Manages the boat, trailer, and ride-on sales and registration process including processing ownership documentation
  • Partners with store and Customer Care teams to resolve customer service issues
  • Establishes Compliance Requirements for existing and potential BMT manufacturers/vendors
  • Works closely with buying teams responsible for boats, trailers, and ride-Ons
  • Works with BMT manufacturers to obtain MSO/MCO for items sold
  • Manages internal procedures/processes and makes updates as needed
  • Manages all incoming customer and store requests for BRT items
  • Serves as subject matter expert and manages new item set up in BMT Database
  • Knowledge of Firearm Compliance Federal and State regulations
  • Assist in an on-call group to assist stores with Firearm Compliance questions
  • Maintain Firearm Compliance Database
  • Assisting in Firearm Compliance Projects and audits
  • Required to learn company policies and procedures and safety rules
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules
  • Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks as assigned
