About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compensation Partner to join our Total Rewards team. This role will support our GTM org on the strategy, design and execution of Anthropic's compensation programs, as well as other creative compensation approaches that support our diverse and growing team. This role is a great fit for someone who has both seen compensation excellence at scale and operated in rapidly scaling, high-ambiguity environments with evolving scope.

Key responsibilities
  • Support Anthropic's overall compensation framework, including salary, variable compensation and equity-based programs to attract and retain highly sought-after talent
  • Operate as a strategic compensation business partner for your client groups, building relationships and context with executives, People Partners, and recruiting to navigate ambiguous problems and recommend solutions tailored to Anthropic's unique needs
  • Own comp cycle execution end-to-end for your client groups, including market benchmarking review, budget modeling, manager enablement, edge-case resolution, and exec-ready rollups - in partnership with the broader Total Rewards team
  • Provide subject matter expertise and accurately interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate HR Business Partners, managers and leadership on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations
  • Create compelling data narratives and presentations for leadership, translating complex analysis into clear strategic recommendations
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop scalable processes that enable consistent, high-quality compensation decision-making across the organization
  • Develop and deliver enablement on our compensation philosophy and programs with all of Anthropic
Minimum qualifications
  • Deep expertise in compensation, preferably in a high growth environment
  • Demonstrated experience with sales plan design and implementation
  • Strong collaboration and program management skills, with a track record of taking on ambiguously-scoped projects and taking ownership to deliver amazing results
  • Thrive in strategic thinking while also being comfortable with hands-on execution and detailed analysis
  • Exceptional communicator, particularly in writing
