Overview:
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst is responsible for administering and supporting the organization's compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company objectives. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to support compensation planning, benefits administration, and employee inquiries while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Compensation:
  • Support the administration of the company's compensation programs including salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and pay structure management
  • Conduct market analysis and compensation surveys to ensure competitive and equitable pay practice
  • Assist with annual compensation review processes including merit increases, promotions, and bonus planning
  • Provide compensation recommendations to HR and leadership based on market data and internal equity
  • Maintain compensation data and reporting within Workday HRIS

Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and leave programs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution
  • Support annual open enrollment planning, communication, and execution
  • Coordinate with benefits brokers and vendors to ensure effective program delivery
  • Monitor benefits utilization and provide reporting and insights to HR leadership
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits (e.g., ERISA, ACA, FLSA)
  • Assist with benefits audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory filings
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation

HR Partnership
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on compensation offers and market data for new hires
  • Support HR leadership with total rewards reporting, analytics, and recommendations
  • Assist with development of benefits and compensation communication materials to improve employee understanding of programs

Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation, benefits administration, and total rewards
  • Experience managing compensation analysis and benefits program management
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), or SHRM/HR certification desired

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems Workday, ADP
  • Hands-on experience with the Hay Method job architecture methodology
  • Advanced experience with compensation leveling using Radford
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of compensation benchmarking tools and benefits administration practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and employee support skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Experience supporting compensation cycles in a mid-sized or fast-growing organization
