SUMMARY:

IPS is a behavioral healthcare company that specializes in outpatient mental health and substance use treatment for adults in socioeconomically diverse populations in Dallas, Ellis, and Kaufman Counties. IPS is a state-funded, non-profit organization, that specializes in the provision of outpatient clinical services for those negatively associated with the criminal justice system. Using empirically validated and evidence-based treatment, IPS strives to ensure the highest level of care for our clients. IPS’ mission is to positively affect change by offering clinical and educational services that assist in reducing adult offender recidivism.

IPS is seeking individuals that are passionate about helping those that struggle with mental illness, substance misuse, homelessness, and forensically involved clientele. We are currently seeking a Community Relations Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Community Relations Manager’s sole focus is to ensure positive relationships with current external partners and proactively work to establish new relationships. The Community Relations Manager reports to the Chief Operations Officer to ensure targeted organizational metrics are satisfied and to maintain compliance with the contractual obligations and regulations which govern IPS’ programs. As part of the multidisciplinary management team, the Community Relations Manager is primarily responsible for maintaining full clinical, administrative, and supervisory responsibilities of communications staff.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

â—Ź Directing, supervising, and evaluating the work activities of

communications staff.

â—Ź Professional development of communications staff

â—Ź Establishing departmental goals and objectives

â—Ź Management of team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet departmental goals and objectives.

â—Ź Completing projects, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

â—Ź 1+ year(s) of management experience

â—Ź 1+ year(s) of experience in sales and marketing

● Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Counseling, Social Work or related field , required

â—Ź LPC-Associates or LMSWs that are eligible for independent licensure within 3 months of hire, required minimum

â—Ź Full and unrestricted active Texas state licensure: LPC, LCSW, RN, APRN, LCDC etc., preferred

â—Ź Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suites, ADOBE Acrobat Pro â—Ź Other skills required: Ability to type at least 40 wpm.
