Job Summary
  • Support daily golf operations, including managing tee times, guest check-in, and pace of play
  • Assist with tournament and outing setup, scoring, and event coordination
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to resort guests and members in alignment with luxury hospitality standards
  • Operate the golf shop point-of-sale system and assist with merchandising and inventory organization
  • Help maintain practice facilities, staging areas, and overall presentation of the golf operation
  • Coordinate with outside services staff to ensure seamless cart staging, bag handling, and guest arrivals
  • Communicate course conditions, policies, and resort offerings clearly and professional
  • Promote golf programs, lessons, and resort amenities to enhance the overall guest experience

Compensation
This is an hourly position with the opportunity for full-time seasonal hours and a starting wage range of $21.00 - $25.00 per hour. Potential season dates April 1 - November 15.
Employee housing available. Uniform, meals, and unrestricted free golf rounds are all included. Plus, enjoy Superintendent golf outings with career development and potential for long-term employment.
Final compensation package offer is subject to change based on a variety of complex factors unique to each candidate including experience, education, skill set, and applicable certifications.
Key Skills & Experience Required
  • For interns, must be currently enrolled or recently graduated from a turfgrass, horticulture, or related program.
  • Fundamental knowledge of PGA rules and the game of golf
  • Prior experience working on a golf course a plus, but not required
  • Successful completion of satisfactory background check
  • Demonstrates natural leadership qualities with a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Available and willing to work flexible hours based on business needs including weekdays and weekends.
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expresses sincere enthusiasm for the role and passion for golf
  • Must know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion. Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused while maintaining hospitality.

Essential Functions of the Job
  • Ability to remain standing for up to 8 hours
  • Constant walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
  • Ability to walk the property and grounds frequently, throughout full shift
  • Ability to move up and down stairs frequently
  • Ability to move quickly based on guest needs
  • Ability to regularly move, push, and lift up to 50 lbs, sometimes up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, and reach frequently, including above head, and repetitively during a shift
  • Ability to visibly survey property areas clearly. Must be able to hear and see clearly to operate machinery and identify turf issues.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information effectively
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory background check
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks, operate equipment, and complete job duties in a safe manner
  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends based on course needs.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, often starting before dawn.
