Job description

Marketing โ€ข Full-time โ€ข San Francisco; New York
Apply
Our mission is to automate coding. The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for professional programmers, using a combination of inventive research, design, and engineering. Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truth-seeking, passionate, and creative. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.
About the role
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring our community programs run smoothly and successfully. From managing our Ambassador sourcing process to supporting community events around the world. You'll also have the opportunity to work on a variety of new initiatives like on-the-ground growth efforts for key markets, defining standardization across our programs, and launching new programs that engage our community at scale.
This is a builder role. You'll define the roadmap for community operations while operating in a high-autonomy environment.
What you'll do
  • Support program operations and event logistics across our Community programs, including but not limited to Ambassadors, Campus programs, and more
  • Lead and support support the infrastructure build and streamline internal processes to make programs run more effectively
  • Identify existing gaps and craft new workflows to remove inefficiencies
  • Work directly with our internal team to help shape and scale our global community programs
  • Interface directly with our Community members - you should feel energized and excited to meet developers globally who use Cursor

You may be a fit if
  • You have 3-5 years at a high-velocity startup with a focus on operational work
  • You're energized by community building and have a background in bringing diverse groups of people together
  • You're operationally excellent, manage multiple work streams simultaneously without dropping details, even across time zones
  • You're comfortable building your own tooling in Cursor and integrating with external tools
  • You have a strong bias toward action, not afraid to dive into the weeds and do whatever it takes to ship
  • You have empathy and understand what makes communities tick
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, comfortable with ambiguity, energized by building new things

We are also open to Remote US candidates for this role.
