Our work impacts the lives our community members as we strive to address the broader social conditions young people face, especially those exposed to various social vulnerabilities. Our focus on outreach and community programs has continued to impact the sport-based PYD field by developing tomorrow's leaders and workforce through teaching, training, and developing individuals in the field of PYD. Our ongoing research, evaluations and publications demonstrate the impact and differences community-based sports can make in the lives of vulnerable youth. Findings are used to inform evidence-based practices in sport-based PYD across the world.
