Ongoing training, support from experienced colleagues, and access to resources like supervision or debriefing sessions are standard industry practices to help mediators effectively address these challenges and maintain their well-being.

What is community mediation?

Community mediation is a process where trained, neutral mediators help individuals or groups in a community resolve conflicts or disputes in a constructive and voluntary manner. It is an alternative to formal legal proceedings and aims to foster understanding, communication, and mutually agreeable solutions.
