JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary
Provides senior level support for health plan growth and community engagement activities. Responsible for achieving and continuously improving Molina's enrollment/referral growth objectives across all lines of business; collaborates with key departments across the enterprise to improve overall choice rates and assignment percentages. Develops relationships with community based organizations (CBOs) and providers to drive membership growth , and coordinates community events with key partners to increase Molina brand recognition visibility.
Essential Job Duties
• Under limited supervision, responsible for carrying out activities required to achieve membership/referral growth targets and overall choice rate through a combination of direct and indirect marketing activities and community events.
• Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment/referral goals and growth targets, as established by leadership.
• Schedules, coordinates, and participates in Molina turnkey community events, encourages key partners to participate, and aligns media components.

• Develops, maintains, and deepens relationships with key business leaders, community based organizations (CBOs) and providers - ensuring all efforts are directed towards building membership.
• Collaborates with the provider relations team to ensure providers within assigned territory are aware of Molina products and services.
• Establishes simple referral processes for providers and CBOs to refer clients who may be eligible for applicable products.
• Represents as an ambassador within the community on the health care delivery system and wellness topics.
• Facilitates presentations, attends meetings and distributes educational materials to members and potential members.
• Assists with incoming calls - assisting existing and prospective members with health access-related questions.
• Identifies opportunities for key sponsorships, and provides justification for Molina participation.
• Identifies and promotes Molina's volunteer time off (VTO) program, and develops opportunities for employees to participate in community volunteering events.
• Manages daily schedule in alignment with growth and community engagement department goals, initiatives, and assigned community region(s).
• Provides training and support to new and existing growth and community engagement team members.
• Up to 75% local travel required.
Required Qualifications
• At least 3 years of related experience in marketing, business development, community engagement, sales and/or customer service - preferably in the health care industry, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance for job related travel requirements.
• Ability to drive up to 3 hours to attend events.
• Ability to attend public events in outdoor venues in all weather conditions.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and independently prepare for and set up community marketing events.
• Strong customer service acumen.
• Networking skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal/external stakeholders, including community based organizations (CBOs).
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with little to no supervision.
• Organizational and time-management skills ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to facilitate public speaking events and presentations.
• Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of the managed care industry, including Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace programs.
• Previous health care marketing, enrollment/referral and/or grassroots community outreach experience.
• Outreach experience serving low income populations.
• Experience presenting to health influencer and low income audiences.
• Bi-lingual Spanish.
