Home Again Assisted Living of Columbus is currently looking for a Community Director to join our team! This position is full time (40 hours per week) & requires to be on site.
The Community Director is responsible for assisting the Medical Director and the Director of Operations in the daily tasks associated in running the community. Assisting in the provision of quality care of the residents of Home Again Assisted Living by carrying out the responsibilities and duties set in the description. The Community Director acts as an advocate, encourages and supports choice, independence and individuality and provides confidentiality and respect of all residents.
What your day to day looks like:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Community
- Orients, supervises, evaluates, reviews and appropriately disciplines all community staff
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Create and maintain staff schedules
- Maintain all tracking documentation related to facility, regulations, and procedure requirements along with facilitating all related drills and service needs.
- Assist in developing and conducting service plan reviews with appropriate resident care team members and resident families
- Supervise the maintenance of resident charts and review documentation performed by resident care staff
- Pre and post move in assessments in conjunction with the Medical Manager
- Manager On-Call Rotation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Prior experience in assisted living communities
- Compassion and a positive, outgoing personality
- Strong critical thinking, communication, team building and leadership skills
- CBRF Certifications
- Have flexibility to help in all aspects of running day to day operations including working as a Resident Assistant, when needed
- 18years of age
