Aspirus Health in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a COMMUNITY RESOURCE LIAISON to join our HOME HEALTH ADMINISTRATION team!
The Community Liaison positively promotes Aspirus as the provider of choice within the community. The primary focus/responsibility is to increase patient referrals into the Aspirus Post Acute Care business units. Markets Aspirus Post Acute Care as the agency of choice to current and potential referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, board and care facilities, community groups. Develops relationships and provides education throughout the community to promote Aspirus at Home Health, Help at Home, Durable Medical Equipment, and Hospice services. This person works independently to proactively facilitate referrals to Aspirus at Home, proactively works with their local teams to educate the community, referral sources and patients who might be candidates for post-acute services and relationships. This role will also be responsible for participating in the planning of new business development with their local teams and leadership.
This position will be located out of Steven Point. 70% of the time will be there 30% will be travel.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 week.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health or Business Management, Marketing or related field required.
  • Five years of outside sales experience required. Health Care experience preferred.
  • Possesses a valid Wisconsin or Michigan Driver's License required.
  • Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required.
  • Ability to meet, collaborate and work efficiently with others in the community.
  • Strong patient advocacy skills.
  • Ability to review clinical documentation for accuracy, thoroughness, and completeness with a fine attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates ability to write professionally, work independently, and communicate with individuals and groups.
  • Demonstrates application of teaching/learning principles. Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of various age groups in terms of their physical, motor, psychosocial and intellectual/language development as it applies to the volunteer employees care and services.
