Job description

The Marketing Communications Specialist executes integrated communications that strengthen the Summit Orthopedics brand through compelling content, digital communications, website content, social media, and internal communications. This role owns communication execution across multiple channels in support of departmental objectives.
This is a full-time position based at our corporate office located in Woodbury, MN. Monday - Friday schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (subject to change).
  • Develop and execute high-quality communications across print, digital, email, website, social media, and internal channels while maintaining Summit's brand voice.
  • Manage website content, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, SEO/GEO optimization, and an exceptional digital experience.
  • Own the editorial calendar and coordinate content production supporting service lines, physicians, recruitment, and organizational priorities.
  • Create compelling written content including articles, newsletters, physician profiles and announcements.
  • Manage organic social media day-to-day execution, monitoring engagement and recommending improvements.
  • Coordinate photography, videography, and multimedia storytelling while maintaining organized digital asset libraries.
  • Partner with physicians and operational leaders to ensure communications are clinically accurate, timely, and audience focused while ensuring all communications comply with brand standards, HIPAA, accessibility guidelines, and organizational policies.
  • Monitor communication performance metrics and use insights to improve engagement, visibility and effectiveness.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Summit's hiring range for this position is $61,645 to $77,056 per year. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. In addition to our base salary, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package that aligns with our vision of leading a healthy and active lifestyle. This includes medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off and 401(k)/profit sharing retirement plan. If you are hired at Summit, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
