Job Description
  • Responsible for document development including writing, editing, layout, and production for a variety of client deliverables. These may include proposals, project reports, specifications, and presentations depending on the need.
  • Create customized graphics, charts, and diagrams to illustrate technical concepts.
  • Research, write, edit, and format original proposal content, including project descriptions, staff summaries, resumes, and other sections as assigned.
  • Edit content from technical staff to create a clear voice and consistent style.
  • Proactively and persistently solicit input from technical staff members.
  • Responsible for document formatting, layout, production, packaging, and maintenance of proposal production supplies.
  • Knows and ensures style and brand guidelines are followed.
  • Assists with facilitating proposal meetings and manage proposal assignments and deadlines.
  • Assist with additional project and marketing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Mass Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Marketing, sales, proposal, and/or technical writing experience is preferred.
  • Solid communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style guides.
  • Ability to listen well and quickly solicit information from technical staff.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly produce content.
  • Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible, dedicated, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task, and excel with limited resources and multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented and highly collaborative environment.
  • Valid Driver's License and in good standing. Occasional travel necessary.
