Job description

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Summer 2026)
Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Human Resources/Communication Intern to support our HR team with day-to-day operations, employee engagement initiatives, and HR projects. This role also includes assisting in the design, organization, and maintenance of our company SharePoint site, as well as updating HR documents and policies to ensure they are current and accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires and maintain accurate HR records
  • Assist with employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and HR events
  • Help design, organize, and maintain HR content on the company SharePoint site
  • Update HR documents, templates, and policies to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in creating HR-related communications and presentations when needed
  • Support HR projects, process improvements, and compliance initiatives
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information and HR records
  • Travel occasionally to the Coon Rapids location as required for meetings, events, or HR support
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint or willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous internship experience in HR or office administration
  • Experience with SharePoint, Teams, or other collaboration platforms
