Job Description:
THE ROLE
Entegris is growing and looking for a dynamic Commodity Manager, Direct Global Commodity Management to join our Packaging and Membranes Team. If you are someone who thrives in managing commodities to enable continuity of supply and commercial optimization, developing and executing commodity strategies, building and managing supplier's relationship among other Key Performance Indices in the dynamic semiconductor market, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated team.
This position can be based in either our Bedford, MA or Chaska, MN facility.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Drive sourcing actions and decisions in the Packaging and Membranes category that will lead to robust supplier choices enabling supply continuity, quality management in particular.
  • Own and lead cost saving efforts, commercial / contract negotiations and be the key contact for and to the suppliers.
  • Manage and drive key Supplier Management Programs such as Quarterly Business Reviews and Executive Business Reviews building relationships and driving key actions to achieve goals.
  • Develop and execute Commodity Strategies with alignment from Key Stakeholders.
  • Participate and support in New Product Introduction programs to ensure successful product launch and enable Entegris business growth.

Requirements:
  • BS or MS in engineering, supply chain or related;
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in commodity management, with experience with Packaging
  • The ability to understand total cost models;
  • A leader with a strong technical background in Packaging segment with the ability to effectively motivate teams to achieve collective success;
  • An astute capability to recognize the needs and motivations of individuals, and the capability to develop and nurture a wide array of internal and external relationships;
  • The capability to quickly understand complex engagements, identify creative business solutions, and drive successful interactions with outside partners;
  • A dedicated technology inclination for learning, collaborating, and continuous improvement;
  • Demonstrated negotiating skills, effective communication capabilities, and the ability to drive suppliers to efficiently support the long term, profitable growth of Entegris;
  • Strong technical and business fundamentals, with the ability to apply his/her knowledge to current and emerging semiconductor manufacturing needs.
