Commissions Coordinator

American Life Financial Partners, LLC, a rapidly growing financial services holding company, seeks a customer service-focused, hands-on, and energetic team player to join us as Commissions Coordinator. We operate as a modern insurance-holding company focused on long-term growth. We aim to foster and cultivate our relationships to sell and administer annuity products through third-party independent marketing organizations (IMOs).

Summary/Objective

As a Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the commission payment processes for agents who sell annuities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the initial accuracy and timeliness of commission payments, assisting agents in resolving issues, and participating in the development and implementation of new processes. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a desire to grow within the financial services industry.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in processing the commission payments to agents and their uplines.
  • Ensure initial accuracy and timeliness of commission payments.
  • Support agents in resolving commission-related issues.
  • Collect and organize data to identify trends and discrepancies in commission payments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to assist in resolving commission-related issues via phone and email.
  • Help develop and maintain relationships with agents to enhance their satisfaction with commission payments.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new commission processes and policies.
  • Analyze debit balances and work closely with agents/agencies to collect.
  • Process and update ACH info in FAST.
  • Assist in providing regular reports on commission payments and trends to management.
  • Reconcile accounts, payments, and review reporting on a regular basis.

Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of annuity products and commission structures.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory requirements related to commission payments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate degree in a related field, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role or financial services industry.
  • Exposure to commission management software preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and communicate with others. This may be over the phone, in person, or through email and messaging. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed to complete work and ensure operations/business is not interrupted or slowed.
