Job description

Corporate Website Management Team

The Corporate Website Management (CWM) team operates as an internal agency within the Performance Marketing department, responsible for branding, advertising, and strategy for JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) and overseeing the J.P. Morgan (JPM) brand. The CWM team supports Corporate Responsibility, the Foundation, and The Institute, among other corporate functions, including multiple JPMC digital channels (jpmorganchase.com, jpmorgan.com, etc.).

As a AEM Full Stack Developer on the Corporate Website team, you will report to the Technology Manager of JPMorgan Chase's internal digital agency. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our corporate websites, collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality, resilient, and scalable web experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement components, templates, and workflows in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for high-traffic, enterprise-level websites.
  • Build user interfaces using AEM and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Work from Figma wireframes and functional requirements to create web interfaces with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Integrate web interfaces with back-end systems in collaboration with technology teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser and cross-platform support issues.
  • Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and performance.
  • Manage day-to-day website updates, including production updates, asset trafficking, and code changes.
  • Collaborate with IT/Development teams for requirements gathering and ongoing website maintenance.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and future strategies.
  • Partner with design, project management, and content teams to ensure design quality and consistency.
  • Participate in application deployment, performance monitoring, and operational issue resolution.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Proven experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development and implementation.
  • Strong foundation in front-end web development.
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 (required); SASS.
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript (ES6+ required); JQuery and/or TypeScript
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience with AEM architecture, components, templates, and workflows.
  • Experience creating models and/or services in Java (11+) or similar (C#, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling (AJAX, partial page updates).
  • Experience with Node.js 16+ and Webpack 4/5.
  • Solid understanding of implementing responsive designs and UI/UX best practices.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in financial services or a similar industry.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, design, and business teams.
  • Ability to manage requirements and delivery of website assets across cross-functional teams.
