Automotive Sales Associate (Car Sales / Retail Auto Sales) – Murgado Ford of Chicago

Murgado Ford of Chicago (Murgado Automotive Group) is hiring an Automotive Sales Associate to join our high-performing car sales team. If you’re a motivated sales professional who enjoys fast-paced retail environments and wants to build a career in auto sales, this role offers training, support, and strong earning potential. You’ll work directly with customers as a consultative car salesman / car sales representative, helping them find the right Ford vehicle, financing, and options—while delivering an exceptional dealership experience.

Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. If you can assist customers in Spanish, Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian, your language skills are a major plus and can help you build trust, relationships, and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities (Automotive Sales):

  • Customer engagement: Greet and assist customers, identify needs, and provide a professional, consultative car salesman experience from first contact to delivery.
  • Multilingual customer support (preferred): When possible, assist customers in their preferred language—especially Spanish, Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian—to improve clarity, comfort, and customer satisfaction.
  • Product knowledge: Learn Ford vehicles, trims, technology, warranties, and competitive comparisons.
  • Sales process: Manage test drives, trade-in appraisals (as applicable), pricing discussions, and purchase paperwork in partnership with managers and finance.
  • Financing & protection products: Introduce financing options and coordinate with the finance team to support a smooth close.
  • Follow-up & relationship building: Maintain communication to ensure satisfaction, answer questions, and generate repeat and referral car sales.
  • Goal achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly automotive sales targets.
  • CRM & lead management: Use CRM tools to track opportunities, appointments, and your auto sales pipeline.
  • Training & teamwork: Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with sales, service, and finance to deliver a great customer experience.

Qualifications (Retail Auto Sales):

  • Sales experience: Prior experience is preferred but not required (customer service, retail sales, or auto sales experience is a plus).
  • Language skills (preferred): Bilingual/multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply—especially those fluent in Spanish, Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian.
