About the Role
We are seeking a detail oriented Payroll Administrator to support our automotive dealership by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This role is essential to maintaining compliance, supporting department leaders, and delivering a smooth payroll experience for all employees.
Responsibilities
  • Process weekly/biweekly payroll for all dealership departments
  • Review and verify time cards, commissions, bonuses, spiffs, and technician flag hours
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour regulations
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Partner with HR and department managers to ensure accurate labor reporting
  • Manage payroll tax filings, garnishments, and required deductions
  • Prepare payroll related reports for accounting and leadership
  • Support year end processes including W2s and audits
  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information
Qualifications
  • Previous payroll experience required; automotive dealership experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dealership pay plans (commission, flat rate, hourly, salary)
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar
