Fundraising Operations Manager

Brooklyn, NY

$120,000–$150,000 base + performance bonuses

Position Overview

A growing nonprofit fundraising organization is seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Fundraising Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its calling department.

This role is responsible for managing campaign execution, client communication, team support, recruiting, onboarding, and operational processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, follows through, and keeps operations running smoothly with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign & Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after campaigns.
  • Ensure campaigns are set up properly and executed successfully.
  • Coordinate logistics, monitor progress, and resolve operational issues.

Operations & Team Support

  • Oversee daily operations of the calling department.
  • Ensure team members have the tools, systems, and resources needed to succeed.
  • Identify process improvements and implement operational efficiencies.

HR, Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Coordinate hiring efforts, including candidate screening and interview scheduling.
  • Manage onboarding and system setup for new hires.
  • Support payroll, commission tracking, and other HR-related administrative functions.

Systems & Process Management

  • Ensure calling technology and operational systems are functioning effectively.
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows.
  • Maintain organized processes that support a well-run department.

Executive Support

  • Act as the operational right hand to leadership for all calling department matters.
  • Take ownership of projects and drive execution from start to finish.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations are handled efficiently and proactively.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of operations, project management, or department management experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Highly accountable, resourceful, and execution-oriented.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, or team operations preferred.
  • Experience in fundraising, nonprofit organizations, call centers, or customer-facing operations is a plus.
