Summary:

The Forecast Analyst is responsible for facilitating monthly SKU and customer-level demand forecasts, driving continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, and serving as the technical power user for SAP. This role involves leading the monthly demand S&OP meeting with the sales team, providing output to the supply chain organization, and reporting historical performance and future projections to executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong demand planning expertise, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the SAP technical power user and database resource for specified product lines.
  • Interface with systems, data, stakeholders, and customers to facilitate monthly SKU/customer-level demand forecasts, seeking continuous improvement in accuracy.
  • Meet all assigned KPIs, including but not limited to forecast accuracy at customer and product level.
  • Monitor weekly customer sales volume for oversells and report out as necessary.
  • Drive the continued evolution of application functionality to facilitate global and local utilization and ROI.
  • Work with the CBO Sales Organization in providing GIMS-level forecasts to SCM/IP and GHQ when necessary, including 100% of AM SP/O2 volume and approximately 10% of OE volume not related to releases.
  • Lead the sales team in the monthly demand S&OP meeting, provide output to the supply chain organization, and report historical performance and future projections in executive meetings.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including J-SOX, IATF-16949, and ISO14000-related policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role using current, best-in-class planning systems (e.g., SAP, Manhattan I/O, Anaplan).
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct complex demand simulations leveraging application modeling tools, statistical analysis, and sales/market intelligence to meet and exceed forecast accuracy KPIs.
  • Ability to manage, update, and maintain large databases and reporting tools.
  • Ability to interface with demand stakeholders at all levels to strategically identify and validate regional and affiliate industry trends and sales drivers.
  • Ability to facilitate data exchange and consensus building in an S&OP environment.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • APICS, IBF, or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
