HIRING IMMEDIATELY: RIPENING FORECAST ANALYST IN ISLANDIA, NY
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Ripening Forecast Analyst to join our client in Islandia, NY. This individual will be responsible for utilizing forecasting models based on information from customer, historical demand, and business capacity. The ideal candidate will possess functional knowledge of the Banana Ripening Process. Apply online and kick start your career today!
Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Ranging from $66,300 - $70,000/yearly, paid weekly
  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • Full Time Schedule, Overtime Availability
  • Located in Islandia, NY
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Utilize forecasting model based on information from customer, historical demand, and business capacity
  • Supervise the continuous ripening cycle to meet demand and maintain product quality and shelf-life
  • Conduct required inbound inspections to ensure product meets criteria prior to the ripening process
  • Work closely with Ripening Manager to communicate with customer and Distribution Center any anticipated changes in demand or supply
  • Oversee the proper sanitation in area
  • Oversee the proper Preventive Maintenance program for rooms and equipment
  • Track and maintain records of any customer feedback, with corrective actions, as necessary
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Functional knowledge of Banana Ripening Process
  • Functional knowledge of Banana quality and maturation
  • Knowledge of banana supply chain
  • Strong Planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of banana supply chain
  • Knowledge in MS Office, Excel. WMS (GOLD) system literacy preferred
