Dual Restoration is seeking an experienced Restoration Manager-Crew Leader to oversee and lead our restoration teams in water, fire, and mold projects. If you have a passion for helping people during emergencies and the leadership skills to guide a crew effectively, this is the role for you.

As a Crew Leader/Manager, you will supervise job sites, ensure quality control, coordinate with clients and insurance representatives, and manage technicians while also participating hands-on in restoration work.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

  • Lead, supervise, and train restoration technicians on job sites.
  • Coordinate daily job assignments, workflow, and project timelines.
  • Ensure all restoration procedures follow industry standards and company protocols.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure superior work performance.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, adjusters, management companies, and insurance representatives.
  • Maintain crew efficiency, safety compliance, and project organization.

Hands-On Restoration Work

  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls for water, fire, and mold damage.
  • Assess damage and develop restoration plans tailored to each project.
  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, and mitigation.
  • Conduct inspections and testing for fire damage or mold growth.
  • Execute fire cleanup including debris removal, odor elimination, and content cleaning.
  • Perform mold remediation including containment setup, air filtration, removal of contaminated materials, and clearance preparation.
  • Utilize restoration tools such as air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA scrubbers, ozone machines, and moisture meters.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Document job progress with photos, notes, and detailed measurements.
  • Provide comprehensive reports for clients, adjusters, and internal records.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle, equipment, and supply inventories.
  • Coordinate daily job assignments, workflow, and project timelines.
  • Ensure all restoration procedures follow industry standards and company protocols.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure superior work performance.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, adjusters, management companies, and insurance representatives.
  • Maintain crew efficiency, safety compliance, and project organization.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of restoration experience (water, fire, mold) required.
  • Prior crew leader or manager/supervisor experience required.
  • Knowledge of restoration equipment and industry practices.
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, AMRT) are highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to assess damage accurately and solve problems efficiently.
  • Must be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must speak English & Spanish.
  • Must be able to commute to New York, NY.
