Job Title: Contents & Textiles Restoration Technician (Cleaning Furniture & Laundry)
Location: Warehouse-based (daily reporting)
Pay Rate: $16.00 an hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contents & Textiles Restoration Technician to join our team. This role focuses on cleaning, deodorizing, and restoring personal property affected by fire, smoke (soot), and mold damage. Work is performed primarily in an air conditioned warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and restore contents damaged by fire, smoke, soot, and mold
  • Perform detailed hand cleaning of household items, furniture, and personal belongings
  • Operate laundry equipment to clean and deodorize textiles (clothing, linens, etc.)
  • Pack, label, and organize contents for storage and return
  • Follow proper handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace
  • Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required
  • Assist with inventory tracking and documentation
Qualifications
  • High attention to detail and quality of work
  • Ability to follow processes and instructions consistently
  • Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and restoration equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Prior cleaning, restoration, or laundry experience preferred but not required

  • Warehouse setting with exposure to cleaning agents, soot, and mold-damaged items
