Job description

Reporting to the Director of Ticket Sales, the Account Executive of Membership Sales' responsibilities include the planning, organizing, directing, controlling and execution of the company's sales and retention initiatives.

The goals of the position are to achieve optimum ticket sales volume, and ensure the desired sales results, while performing the following duties: The Nationals are a military-friendly organization actively recruiting veterans and spouses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business revenue through the outbound sales of full season, half season, and partial plan NATS Plus Memberships.
  • Contact leads for new season ticket memberships, group outings, and premium hospitality offerings, including daily suite rentals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients through proactive outreach, including but not limited to outbound calls, face-to-face appointments, and ballpark tours.
  • Participate in sales events and initiatives designed to drive new business and engage prospective clients.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly outbound activity and touchpoint goals as set forth by the Manager, Ticket Sales.
  • Achieve weekly self-prospecting targets with an emphasis in B2B and corporate sales.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets as established by the Manager, Ticket Sales.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service both over the phone and in person at Nationals Park, ensuring a first-class experience for all fans and partners.
  • Represent the Washington Nationals with professionalism, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Achieve monthly performance benchmarks in activity, productivity, and revenue as defined by Ticket Sales and Service leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, touchpoints, and sales opportunities within the organization’s CRM system to ensure data integrity and follow-up accuracy.
  • Nurture and manage an accurate sales pipeline to ensure visibility and accountability throughout the sales process.
  • Fulfill assigned game day responsibilities, including client visits, assisting at sales tables, and responding to inbound inquiries.
  • Participate in key year-round fan engagement events as assigned by Ticket Sales and Service leadership.
  • Represent the Washington Nationals at offsite community and networking events to promote ticket opportunities and enhance brand presence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

                              Compensation:

                              The projected wage rate for this position is $20.67 per hour. This position is also eligible for commission based on the Ticket Sales & Service incentive program. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
