Job description

Job Title: Mitigation Manager / Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Reports To: Operations Manager
Status: Full-Time | 24/7 On-Call Rotation

Role Overview

This is an in the field, high-responsibility, high-impact role for a restoration Mitigation Manager / Project Manager. You will own the full job lifecycle from start to finish and play a key role in stabilizing and growing operations. You will be at the center point, and the key go-to person for Customers, Adjusters, Technicians, Vendors/Partners, and management.

Core Responsibilities

  • Answering and qualifying customer calls + Manage job intake from TPA programs and all other organic leads.
  • Assessments, Inspections, Scoping, sketching and Estimating.
  • Scheduling jobs and crews, dispatching, managing hours, and strict documentation compliance within MICA, Encircle, and XactAnalysis to support scopes and approvals

  • Responsible for TPA compliance and scorecard
  • Keep jobs on schedule, within profit margins, and meeting quality standards
  • Hiring and Training technicians
  • Production meetings
  • Managing vendors, subcontractors, and referral relationships

  • Creating SOPs, MSAs, and EPRs
  • Maintain professional and safe job sites
  • Manage equipment, inventory, supplies and the truck.

Sales/Marketing (as needed):

  • During low production periods, build relationships with referral sources (plumbers, insurance agents, HVAC companies, realtors, etc.)
  • Support lead generation efforts as needed

Requirements (Non-Negotiable, must haves)

  • Experience: 5+ years in the industry
  • Technical: Proficient with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, MICA/Mitigate, Encircle, CRM

  • Availability: Must participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays)

  • Willingness to wear different hats

  • Background: Valid driver’s license; must pass background check and drug tes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manual sketching, Docusketch, Matterport
  • IICRC WRT, ASD, AMRT (Mold), or Texas Mold Remediation License
  • EPA Lead-Safe (RRP) certification
  • Knowledge of Texas regulations (Lead, Asbestos, Mold)
  • An existing referral partners network

Compensation: Base $50K + 3% commission
