Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Water/Sewer Damage Technician and become a vital part of restoring homes and businesses affected by water, sewer, fire, smoke, mold and flood damage. In this energetic role, you will respond swiftly to emergency situations, assess damage, and execute comprehensive restoration solutions. Your expertise will help clients recover from challenging water-related incidents while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a tangible difference every day.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls involving water, sewer, flood, and fire damage incidents, providing efficient on-site assessments and solutions.
  • Perform water extraction, sewer cleanup, mold remediation, and flood restoration using industry-standard techniques and equipment.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized cleaning equipment to restore affected areas effectively.
  • Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
  • Document damage assessments and restoration processes accurately using Xactimate or similar estimating software.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of carpets, surfaces, and affected materials to facilitate proper drying and mold prevention.
  • Follow strict safety procedures including respiratory protection use and containment protocols during remediation projects.

Requirements

  • No prior experience in water/sewer clean-up, fire/smoke, mold remediation or carpet cleaning required.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients during stressful situations.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call coverage for emergency response outside regular hours.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred.
  • Commitment to safety protocol adherence and maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
