With a wide variety of insurance and financial products, we are among the largest independent agencies in the country. 


In the Commission Accounting Processor role, you will process incoming checks and corresponding carrier statements, post revenue to AMS at client and policy level. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, team player to join our Accounting team. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare compile and sort documents for processing.
  • Transcribe information into required electronic format or manually enter data from source documents, into prescribed computer database.
  • Scan documents into database.
  • Check source documents for accuracy, verify data and correct as needed.
  • Navigate various carrier websites to obtain information as needed.
  • Data entry of commissions from carrier statements and balancing of those statements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience:  2 years accounting experience or equivalent experience.
  • Education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Accurate keyboard skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Organized and able to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines.
